Dr. Deborah Kiceniuk, CLT Associate Director (Institutional Initiatives)
This session will present some of the research methods most often used in higher education and dispel some of the myths surrounding the use of research in the classroom. This interactive session will provide an opportunity for participants to combine their teaching and research interests so they may explore integrating evidence-based teaching into their practice.Ìý In addition, the concept of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and its relationship to evidence –based practice will be introduced.
