Viola Desmond Legacy Lecture, featuring Indigenous rights champion Mich猫le Audette.听
The Viola Desmond Legacy Lecture was born out of 美女做爱鈥檚 200th anniversary and we are thrilled to finally be putting on our second lecture in the series.
Though we are virtual this year, our outstanding speaker Mich猫le Audette promises to make the event absolutely unforgettable.

A little about our speaker:
Mich猫le Audette has made outstanding contributions to Indigenous women鈥檚 rights in Canada.听She served as Associate Deputy Minister for the Status of Women in Qu茅bec and President of the Native Women鈥檚 Association of Canada. In 2016, she was appointed Commissioner for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).
She continues to advocate for change in provincial and federal policies to address discrimination, violence against Indigenous women and social inequalities.
