At Thursday night's ÃÀÅ®×ö°® IMPACT Awards, five students will receive Dal’s top award for exceptional contributions or leadership in student life: Aaron Taylor (Russian Studies), Hasmeet Singh Chandok (Computer Science), Maike van Niekerk (Nursing), Jeremy Ryant (Political Science) and Sarah MacNeil (Recreation Management).

Camping and sleeping outside of the Rowe Building for nearly a week, members of the ÃÀÅ®×ö°® Commerce Society have raised more than $12,000 for Phoenix Youth Programs.

Although the Bighorns prevailed over the Trojans at the 11th Annual Residence Charity Face-Off, the real winners were IWK Health Centre patients and families, with Dal students raising nearly $15,000.

While it was his love of animals that drew him to Dal's Agricultural Campus, Eric Pace has found his way into studying the unique properties of the increasingly popular Haskap berry.

First-year student Kristin Clarke, skip for ÃÀÅ®×ö°®'s AUS champion curling team, was part of the Nova Scotia team that took home the gold at the World Junior Curling Championships in Denmark earlier this month.
