These workshops are designed for students in graduate programs who are struggling to manage stress, or to find the
motivation to complete their degree.

There are three workshops scheduled, students can attend one or more depending on their interests and needs.

1) How to be a grad student (and still have a life): Thursday October 9, 1:30-3:30pm
听听听听听听听听听听听听 -managing time
听听听听听听听听听听听 -exploring the various roles involved in being a grad student
听听听听听听听听听听听 -finding 鈥渂alance鈥
听
2) Under Pressure: Dealing with stress: Thursday October 16, 1:30-3:30pm
听听听听听听听听听听听听 -exploring unique grad school stressors
听听听听听听听听听听听 -self care
听听听听听听听听听听听 -relaxation skills
听听听听听听听听听听听 -avoiding burnout
听
3) Keep your eyes on the prize: Maintaining motivation: Thursday October 23, 1:30-3:30pm
听听听听听听听听听听听 -short term and long term goals
听听听听听听听听听听听 -rekindling your passion for research and writing
听听听听听听听听听听听 -finding meaning in the grad school experience
听

The Workshop will be held within the Counselling Centre, LeMarchant Place, 1246 LeMarchant Street.
