What is Music Studies?
Music Studies at ÃÀÅ®×ö°® are broad, flexible, and hands-on.
You can learn to perform, compose, listen, sing, analyze, and interpret music as a meaningful human activity, across genres, cultures, and time periods.

At the multidisciplinary Fountain School of Performing Arts you’ll receive world class one-on-one instruction and benifit from individualized attention and small class sizes. You'll perform a diversity of styles in our ensembles.
Our student musicians and vocalists benefit from masterclasses with guest artists, apprenticeships with Halifax’s local professional organizations, and real-world experience with live performance and stage productions.

Graduate Studies
